Is This You?
Engagements are selective. A preliminary conversation determines fit, for both parties.
"Breakthroughs happen when we listen beyond the words, uncovering what is actually driving behavior."– Jamie Goodman
My Approach
Result: Faster insight. More precise action.
Result: More control in high-stakes moments.
Result: Consistent, confident leadership.
Result: Better decisions. Stronger presence.
Calm. Clarity. Curiosity. Compassion. Confidence. Courage. Creativity. Connectedness.
These are not aspirational qualities. They are the natural outcome of internal alignment.
What I Believe
Senior leadership is complicated. External pressures from stakeholders, boards, and markets are constant. And beneath those there is internal noise: competing drives, unexamined patterns, subtle misalignment that quietly shapes how you think, decide, and lead.
The most powerful place to lead from is deliberate response, not automatic reaction. We work at the neurological level where that distinction actually lives.
What is being said is rarely the whole story. My ability to hear what is beneath the narrative, to sense what is actually present, is where the real work begins.
Surface behavior is a symptom. We go to the source, because that is the only level at which meaningful, lasting change actually happens.
The Work
Sustained 1:1 coaching for executives. This work is confidential, tailored, and focused to meet your individual needs.
Sometimes the situation calls for depth, not a calendar. The Intensive is a concentrated engagement designed for a leader facing a specific challenge, transition or decision that requires more than a standard session can hold.
The Hogan is one of the most rigorously validated leadership assessments available. It gives you a clear, objective picture of how you show up as a leader; your strengths, your blind spots, and the patterns that quietly derail effectiveness when the pressure is highest.
I am Hogan Certified and use the full suite (HPI, HDS, and MVPI) to build a complete picture. The debrief session is where the real insight happens: results are interpreted directly in the context of your role, your patterns, and the focus of our work together.
I work with a limited number of clients to maintain depth and focus.
All engagements begin with a private consultation.
About Jamie
Jamie Goodman brings three decades as a therapist working with adults (many of them executives and organizational leaders) into the practice of executive coaching. That foundation is not incidental. It is the source of a depth of insight that a traditional coaching background rarely offers.
Her approach is evidence based drawing from cutting edge modalities including neuroscience, solution-focused, and cognitive behavioral approaches.
Her four years as an executive coach at MetLife, combined with extensive work alongside C-suite leaders, entrepreneurs, and high-stakes decision-makers gives her an unusually complete picture: how people operate under pressure, how neurobiological responses to stress quietly shape organizations, and how the patterns we carry shape culture whether we know it or not.
She has mentored extensively in her specialty, assisting at over twenty IFS trainings, retreats, and workshops at institutions including Esalen, Kripalu, and The Omega Institute. That depth is what clients encounter from the first session.
Jamie is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and certified by the IFS Institute, upholding the highest standards of ethics, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Behind this work is lived experience. Jamie built a successful therapy and coaching practice while raising three sons on her own, navigating sustained pressure, responsibility, and high-stakes decision making in real time. That experience informs how she works: grounded, direct, and deeply attuned to what it actually takes to lead when there is no margin for collapse. Clients benefit not only from her clinical and executive background, but from a level of resilience and clarity that has been lived, not just studied.
